This book was recommended by our Pastor at church. At our church, we have a portion of the service devoted to our deep connection with Hebraic roots. We study the Torah books, because we want to know the Whole story. This manual offers the beginners a better option for learning Hebrew words by providing visuals. I became a devout member of this church because of our focus on what too many Christians either don't know about or simply ignore when it comes to gentiles' deep connection to the Jews. Our Firm belief is that it is Essential to embrace God/Lord Jesus Christ/ The Holy Spirit beginning with the Jews. We believe in The Trinity, and this book helps us to feel closer to God, more learned about our True history (All of it) and to see the big picture of Why the Jews have been relentlessly attacked through the ages, yet they Continue to survive and thrive.I Highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to further cement their beliefs, to learn the basics of the Hebrew language, and to better our understanding of how relevant the Jewish people are to us gentiles. It's still a bit over my head, but I remain patient and diligent, and I am excited to make this part of my library of learning.

I am so excited about this book! So full of such good information...I have shared my love for this book with several friends already.It is a study book for sure...not something you breeze through, but I LOVE THIS !
The book has some very good value in helping a person to understand Hebrew through the use of good pictures. It is very well illustrated.
I was glad to see a good discussion on the definition of Hebrew letters, which set forth some excellent rules in examining the meanings.
There is one area that I, as a researcher of the Hebrew alphabet meanings, found that the work done by the Author on using the meanings of the letters to understand Hebrew words is good, but limited by not using some of the newer revelations of meaning found through archeology research. To this research, I would also include the study of others who have studied letter meaning for many many years.
Though the book was printed in 2017, and you would think that it would have the most up to date definitions/meanings of the letters of Hebrew, it does not have the most up to date definitions. It appears that the definitions/meanings of Hebrew letters presented have been pulled from past/older resources. Apparently, I did not find evidence in the book of using recent findings that have been presented from thorough archeology research. I share this, having studied the Hebrew Alphabet and the meanings of the letters for 5 years, and am aware of excellent studies by others not mentioned in the book. These studies have followed the rules presented in the book in examining of the meanings of the Hebrew letters. The study of the meanings of Hebrew letters is fascinating, and we need to constantly challenge what is presented by careful study, and be ready to update our understanding of the meanings as scholarly archeological work shows the need.
Here is another highly informed book on Hebrew. It is educational. It has things our young people should know, like the etymology of English letters, why and the road they've traveled to get to us. I DO recommend this book.

This was great & so I received my book in just a couple of days after I ordered it! The book I received is the one that has 250 pp. & 60 added pp. It is a beautiful glossy book from cover to cover. The format of each chapter is so clear & references are made throughout the book as to where else you can turn to in the book for further information. Also, I'd like to thank one of the reviewers who mentioned the book, In His Own Words by L. Grant Luton which can be purchased directly from Beth Tikkun Publishing...just google In His Own Words & you will save a lot of money for another precious gem. (about $16) The one thing I love about delving into the Hebrew language is the deeper knowledge of the perfection of our wonderful Living God! Truly, He becomes more & more AWESOME to me as He guides me w/ His Holy Spirit into new studies in answer to my prayers! There is NO end to the discovery of Him, if we only seek Him!
Really enjoy this book. I go back to it often. It doesn't have "all" the meanings, or the most commonly accepted meaning for the word pictures, but it is clear enough on the meanings of the letters to see application of other meanings, such as sprout for nun vs seed. It is a great resource.
This Hebrew word picture book is so rich. Much more than just the Hebrew alphabet. So helpful to have all the examples in word and picture to understand Hebrew letters. Also the Bible verse references are great for helping to learn the use of the letters.
I would highly recommend this for study and learning. My fellow Torah study family has really appreciated my sharing what I learn through this text.
